Construction Details:

This costume was supposed to debut at Dragon*con, however I was unable to attend due to rehearsal scheduling. This dress was almost entirely drafted, even though we started with a base pattern. The waves, bubbles, collar, and ears were drafted without patterns. The wig was an Ashley 850 in dark blue, I cut bangs into it and made them stand-up. The tail was crafted from housing wire and a glittery Styrofoam ball. I created a harness with the wire so it would distribute the weight of the tail on my back. The boots were originally white and were painted with Neopaque paints. This costume received an Honorable Mention for Youmacon's Hall Cosplay contest, novice division.
