Construction Details:

After spending months telling myself I could not cosplay Lelouch because I was too short, too girly, couldn't bind myself down effectively enough to crossplay any longer, I gave in and just decided to do it anyway.

Because I spent so much time making costumes for Dragon*Con I completely flaked out on Nekocon and did something I swore I would never do. Bought a costume. In the long run with my career and the fact that I had stressed so much before D*C, it was worth it and the quality wasn't half bad.

For where I cheated with the costume itself I made up for in trying to get the perfect wig. Human hair is so gorgeous, I'm going to be vying over human hair wigs for all future costumes.

The one lense is actually the same lenses I used for Nevan. I figured I'd give it a test run to see how well I enjoyed cosplaying Lelouch before I dropped $160 -- or potentially $320 depending on which version -- on a contact lense.

The guns are airsoft Walther P99s and kept breaking apart, so I got away with carrying them at the con.

Personal Thoughts:

Overall, it was fun, easy, comfortable costume and while I plan on making some of Lelouch's other outfits, I foresee this being the thing I toss on when I don't want to lace myself into a corset.
