Construction Details:

Wow, this costumes was so much fun to wear! I unfortunately rushed a few details on it (which I've already fixed up!), but I was still really excited to wear it!

I saw Perfect Blue ages ago when I first started getting into anime, and I've loved it ever since. I had the fabric sitting around for so long, so I'm glad I finally had a chance to work on this.

The dress is made from light pink casa satin, and the ruffles are a darker pink casa satin. The top is lined with boning and has a zipper up the back. I drafted the pattern for the entire dress myself since the design was so simple. I also made all the ruffles by hand and had so much fun making bows in all different sizes to go all over the costume! The headband and bows on the shoes were hand-dyed to match. Also, the bows on the shoes attach with magnets so they can be easily removed - (Credit to Fire Lily for that awesome idea!)
