Construction Details:

I used satin for this costume. Usually I don't use shiny fabrics but this one turned out very well. I used some lame or chiffon.. I don't remember which one it was. I added some extra fabric to the sleeves to make it look better and add some extra emphasis. The crown I made in like a few hours due to paint drying.. I set my hair too far back to show the crown :( But I made the crown at the same time as the necklace.

Personal Thoughts:

I've always loved Miaka. And I decided on making it for a cosplay presentation in my pop culture class. I didn't want to do a current cosplay so I decided on making an old school one. My name I choose in my Japanese class was Miaka so I went along with that. :)
