About this Costume
Construction Details:
Let's see....the bodice and overskirt are made from upholstery brocade, the forepart is tapestry and the oversleeves are silk dupioni. The bodice is fully boned, the overskirt has over 800 beads sewn by hand, plus it's cartidge pleated, and the sleeves are 24 pieces each, trimmed with gold beads.
Personal Thoughts:
This is the most involved costume I've ever made, but I'm so proud of it. This was also worn for part of the filming of the movie "All's Faire in Love"
