Construction Details:

One of the first costumes I've made. I have a bard job in FFXI, and decided to make the armor that I know I won't be able to get in the game (cause it's too expensive). In detail, the pattern was taken from a belly dancing outfit, edited to match the costume. I have used a lot of Gold bias tape, ribbon, deco rope, and thread. The top fabric was supposed to be charcoal when I bought it at the store, when I got it home, under different light it turned drk brown. This is a very smooth and thin fabric so everything was lined with black cotton. Inside is a self made bra patterned after my own bathing suit. There is a turban that is made of twisted left over fabric. The flute was made of 1" dowel cut down to size and painted the match the "Traversiere" from the game, the simplest instrument to make.
