Construction Details:

Ever since I saw the character designs for the game I've wanted to cosplay from it. I was going to do the Wizard, but one needs serious cleavage to pull that outfit off. I started to fall in love wiith the Fighter design shortly afterwards. I loved the tight fitting jacket and the leggings with the white designs on them. I put this costume on the back burner because I'd never played the game and I felt uneasy about making a costume from something I've never played. I quickly got over that, and got to play the game anyway! Jacket: -all the brown and orange fabric had to be hand painted to achieve the right color. -the shoulder yoke is quilted and inlayed with studs -there are 8 keyholes on the sides, each with two studs underneath. -the jacket is lined, zips up the side, and the sleeves are "faux sleeves" which are sewn into their own seperate armseye, one of which snaps in on one side so I can take the jacket off. -little fun fact, the brown and orange fabrics are the same, just painted different colors, and the green fabric on the yoke and the sleeves are the same fabric, but with different sides of the fabric for different textures. (it's easier to distinguish in real life I promise) -The partlet and ruff is made of cotton with some of the orange fabric, pretty self explainatory. The brooch is a button I painted -The tights are an interesting spandex blend with a scallop hem (which was a pain I might add v_v) Hanging from the scallops is painted lead weight cord. The tights were painted with fabric paint (it's hard to see the designs since the skirt blocks them all >< The rest in a nutshell: -"Fashion Note" wig -bootcovers with buckles -altered gloves -pleather bag with pin (if you look closely, it's actually an American Airlines pin. I thought it was cute
