Construction Details:

I was in love with the Twilight Princess character designs from the second I started playing the game. Tranquility and I decided to cosplay both versions of Midna, with her as the lovely True Form Midna. Our pal Wolfwood completed the group as a totally awesome Ganondorf. I made the headpiece using foam as a base and cardboard to make it sturdy. Paper mache and paperclay were then added to smooth it out, and I carved all the details into the paperclay layer. It was then covered in fiberglass resin and painted. I bought the bodysuit in light blue, and hand painted all the black parts on using fabric paint. I used Ben Nye makeup for my face and it did not sweat off all day. Our group won Best Group at Metrocon 2008.
