Construction Details:

I really liked Simon from GL and watching the lil boy grow up into the leader role was amazing.



The real challenge of this costume was doing the trim out of vinyl, it was very time-consuming and difficult to work with.



I started off with mens patterns to get the oversized coat look. Fabric is made from denim-like fabric. It is lined in itself, except for the sleeves which i lined in white so that when the sleeves are rolled up you see white cuffs! The back features the two-toned olor star which is fully satin-stitched to the coat.



The jumpsuit was made from a vintage 1970's jumpsuit pattern, i made it slightly loose on me. Then details like the gold armored plates were done out of craft foam and painted with gold spray paint. Custum star pins were casted to be pinned to the upper left of the jumpsuit. The jumpsuit has spats that clip around the shoe!
