Construction Details:

Once again, the Hitachiin twins. Their personalities are so much fun and they are really interesting to cosplay because I indeed have a twin. It makes the experience even better. These costumes were just too wonderful not to make. We had to be REALLY inventive with a lot of the parts, we'd never used anything like that before. The paws and moving tails were challenging. Most of the stuff on there had to be customed to fit and look identical.

My twin and I added a lot of detailing onto these costumes to make them more Wonderland feeling and magical/mysterious looking. I couldn't love the outcome more! I had a lot of fun thinking of creative things here and there for it, including the cute, tiny custom button on our pouches shaped and painted like the Cheshire cat's face. SO fun! I've always been a fan of "Through the Looking Glass" and "Alice in Wonderland" and I was happy to do two homage in one!

Personal Thoughts:

I can't say it enough that I love having a twin sister to cosplay with and that's why I feel these costumes are so special to me.
