Construction Details:

This is one of those costumes that is all about having fun in. I brought everything, and did very minimal alterations on it. The wig was made with three wigs and styled to a natural messy-look. I did use black out contacts for dramatic effects and I also bought sticky sandels, so it doesn't look like I'm wearing shoes. The second time we wore these costumes we added props. My twin had Light's Death Scythe, so I wanted to add some besides the Mac computer I would carry around with me. I choose to make a Procession Cross that is used in Catholic Church masses. I thought is was fitting for the Justice the L stands for and symbolism of his Death.

Personal Thoughts:

I was elected to be L for a group originally, but I actually am very fond of his character.
