Where to begin? This was a costume that I was told was "too ambitious" and "will never be done in time". I was so proud of myself when I proved them wrong! Creating a life-sized chocobo wasn't easy. Blaze (the chocobo) is made from shaped dog-wire, covered in batting, which was then covered by 2" long yellow pile. His beak and toenails are made of Wonderflex. He is incredibly huggable and lovable. My chocobo rider costume was created out of suede and satin. It was fun to create a character for the role of Chocobo Rider!
