As soon as I saw the first episode of this anime, I knew I had to make Shuurei's consort robes. The wig and headpiece were a challenge and resulted in many burns. I made the headpiece out of craft foam and painted it gold. The cherry blossoms are hand made from seed beads, wire, and embroidery floss. This costume won 2nd place intermediate at AFO 2007 :)
