About 2 weeks after making my first costume, I got pregnant. Luckily, Serenity is SUPPOSED to get pregnant, so I just remade the costume, improving on the old one. I made the skirt a little too long, but didn't notice until AFTER I had sewn a row of tiny beads along the hem. Having to lift the hem or kick the dress forward with every step made it a bit tiring to wear. I also had to make a wig for this costume since I couldn't keep bleaching my hair safely. It was my first wig ever, so I think it turned out pretty well...
