Construction Details:

Crafted of wood, plastic and epoxy clay, finished with metal leaf. It's made almost entirely of leftovers. The only thing I bought specifically for it was the foil tape I put on the blade. (I wanted to see if it lived up to it's reputation.) Originally, I had planned on just painting the hilt, but I realized that paint up against foil wasn't going to look good. ^_^;

Personal Thoughts:

I *hate* metal leaf. It's evil.

Metal leaf is like that old, bad flame who treats you like dirt but who you keep going back to because the sex is so good. Or something like that.
