I think it's funny that hardly anyone remembers that this version of Ursula has their own name. It's always just "human Ursula" or "Ursula when she was hot", not Vanessa. *lol* Anyways I used patterns for everything(the bodice, skirt, and petticoat). And I got kind of lucky in that the only one I had to modify was the bodice(with lacing, shape, and details). I repainted and restrung a singing shell out of a dress up kit for the necklace. I only had to do minor styling to the wig. And I ended up getting bedroom slippers for the shoes(those ballet slipper style ones), and that wins for comfort. I also searched a while for a fabric I really liked for the outer layer of the bodice. I really wanted to add some appropriate details to the design. And eventually I found this navy paisley that I just love.
