I HAVE A MONKEY. It's just not in pics with me D: But I totally bought a stuffed animal Capuchin monkey and it has a little red vest with trim. I was inspired by Kell's idea to use iron-on transfers for the embroidery on the shirt. I made this costume last minute for the midnight showing of Indy 4,...(Read More) so it was the only option I had available to me. It worked out beautifully! I would like to go back when I have time and hand embroider the design on a new shirt. Staff of Ra pendant courtesy of my amazing boyfriend Jinyo :)

Personal Thoughts:

I adore the original Indy films, especially Raiders and Last Crusade. Marion Ravenwood is hands down the best female of all of the films, and the chemistry Karen Allen and Harrison Ford had on screen for Raiders just can't be beat, even by themselves in Indy 4 ;) The Cairo outfit she wore has always been my favorite. I think it's the only recognizable one besides the dress she wears later on, and I always kinda thought that dress was a bit fugly (come on, they even thought so themselves!), so it was no question that when I got around to making a Marion costume, it would be the Cairo outfit.
