Construction Details:

The whole costume is made from scratch, except for the skirt which I already had. I made the vest and blouse as a single piece so it would be lighter weight for the Texas heat. I'm really proud of how I got the sleeves to look accurate - the tops puff out huge (I had to stuff them to get them so large) and the bottoms are completely stiff. It can be difficult to move around in, though, since the sleeves tend to knock things over! Special thanks to my husband for cutting the jewels out for me - I didn't have the hand strength to make the jewel bevels with the Dremel.

Personal Thoughts:

I wanted to "break character" a bit and play someone bad for a change. I love Franziska's style and I've fallen in love with the games. It's entirely too much fun to carry a whip!
