Construction Details:

So Gwendolyn was my pride and joy back at T-Mode 07 since I made the entire costume from patterns I drafted myself and it was my first time making wings (let alone 3 pairs of wings!). I was so honored to enter this costume in the Craftsmanship Competition because some of my favorite cosplayers were judges at T-Mode and I was competing with another extremely talented cosplayer, Fire Lily, who made a Velvet to accompnay ol' Gwen. We won Best in Show for our costumes ^_^

Unfortunately, this costume has been retired after AZ 08 since the wings have been run into by careless people at cons countless times. I'm pleased to say that the Grizelda costume I made for my sister is still in very good shape though!
