Personal Thoughts:

Golden Axe was the first game I ever played for the Sega Genesis, and I originally played it at my babysitter's house on her husband's game system. He always played with me as Ax Battler, and as an impressionable wee girl I loved playing the badass Amazon chick Tyris. Even though it's ancient and corny and lacks glorified graphics, Golden Axe has always held a special place in my heart...it made me a gamer girl before I was even ten years old! So when a friend of mine suggested I put together a Golden Axe cosplay group for Dragon Con '07, I just couldn't refuse. ^_^
