Construction Details:

Renrin’s magical bracelet, the Gogoukanda, which has the ability to open a portal between the Twelve Kingdoms and the regular world.

I made this out of Sculpey and it took several tries until I was satisfied. I was able to make the bracelet fit very closely since the coils are not attached to each other and the clay is a bit flexible as a result. I rolled out and cut some Sculpey into a long rectangle with curving parts at both ends. Then, I etched in all the designs with a large pin and wrapped it around some cut up soda cans to bake. I added a coat of glaze after baking to make it look more metallic.
