Construction Details:

Card locket made back in 2003 for my Seto Kaiba costume. At that time, the gift shop at the Metropolitan Museum of Art was selling a gold plated business card case with a pattern similar to the back of a Duel Monsters card. (If I recall correctly, it was based on a Tiffany design and this particular style is no longer available.)

As a base for the locket, I purchased one of the cases and painted the lid with enamels. I printed a screencap of the Mokuba picture that’s supposed to be inside the locket and pasted it to a stiff backing. I punched a hole in the top of the picture and then attached a cord for the locket through the hole.

Personal Thoughts:

It was pretty simple to make but this was my favorite part of my Kaiba costume. ^_^ I thought it was cool to have a locket that was real metal and that could actually open and close.
