Construction Details:

This costume was a labour of love 6 years in the making. Originally intended to be my very first costume, it ended up being put away because of time and my lack of skill to make it the way I wanted. Fast forward several years, to the point where I thought I could put my all into it and have it show.

Everything on Luna was constructed by hand. The materials were chosen to be as close to the reference as possible, the patterns drafted multiple times to get the right shapes, the wig completely deconstructed (a combination of 2 actually), and even the jewelry made by hand.

This is one of my favourite costumes. Sailor Moon was my first anime and will always have a special place in my heart. I'm so happy to have waited with Luna and made it when I could truly make it the way I've envisioned for years.
