Construction Details:

This was my first serious cosplay attempted, and the first cosplay were I did everything without assistance. The skirt was hand-sewn with my own home-drafted pattern (7 hours on scallops alone), with the shoes constructed from a pair of slip-ons and the toes of of hard plastic children's-sized clown shoes. The bangles were purchased and painted, and the tank tops were purchased, and the trim hand-painted. The belt was colored and constructed by hand. The wig is my third in a series, and this one is a burgundy Monica which I straightened and cut to the style I wanted.

Personal Thoughts:

I. LOVE. My Kairi costume. I really do. I have been tweaking it for a couple years now, and I finally am at a point where I just love it. I also got to use it for a skit, which just makes me beyond happy. <3 ONE OF THESE DAYS, I will go to the beach with my Sora and Riku and we will get amazing pictures.
