Construction Details:

The Twelve Kingdoms is one of my favorite series and although Renrin only appeared in one episode, she had one of my favorite costumes in the anime.

I patterned the pink robe and gold collar by myself. The vine designs in the collar were hand quilted and I couched down a thick brown thread over the quilting lines to give them more emphasis. It was my first attempt at quilting and I was pleased with how it came out. ^_^ I also sewed all the inner garments and made her coiling bracelet out of Sculpey.
