Construction Details:

I made the skirt and the tie and altered a shirt for this costume. Making that plaid pattern took quite a while. I had to draw it out first, and then stitch it on, and then rinse out my original markings, let it dry, and iron it before I could even start constructing garments. I'd say I spaced that process out over about three days or so. Then I made the skirt and tie just based on measurements without any patterns.
