Construction Details:

The costume took three an a half months to sew. The shoes for this costume were a nightmare to make and wear, but it seems to be everyone's favorite part of the costume (I made the shoes the night before Ohayocon) I needed support to run around the con in the shoes! The costume was modified prior to Anime Punch and Anime Central to make the sleeves more accurate and the skirt poofier. Won "Best Macross Idol" at Anime Punch. The shoes have been getting better and better each con I were this costume to. I glued padding into the parts that cause the chafing and the shoe bases started losing their stiffness that came from the years of disuse.
