Construction Details:

this was a costume I made for Kiki-chan :) I love how it turned out, it looks sooo cute on her. I made the entire costume out of somewhat stretchy fabric so that it would have a little give nad serged all of the pieces together so that I wouldn't have to put in a zipper. the serging lets the fabric stretch a little along the seams :) I also made the wig for her costume. I've never custom styled a wig before, it was a LOT of work. especially with the sailor moon sort of style with the odangos and the pigtails. I'm kind of pleased with how it came out though. the wig took about $60 of materials and almost 20 hours of work, but it was my first one ever, so I'm really proud of it :P the costume took about $30 and 10-15 hours of work.
