Construction Details:

This costume is ultimately my favorite costume as of January 2008. It was so simple to make. We altered a dress pattern, lengthened it, drafted sleeves and a collar, then put them pieces together. The only part for this that was bought was the belt, which isn't meticulously accurate but cute. The wig is gorgeous. The ears and earrings are thanks to my sister. The tiara was the first wire jewelry I'd done that has seen the light of day. The brooch was thanks to my wonderful boyfriend who swiped it from his dad's stone collection.
