Well, he was flipping awesome in the manga and movie (i actually really liked the Live action's L, very good portrayal :D) and complicated hair? I'm in! w00t. None of this is "closet" cosplay, I had to buy things -_- but it was fun to wear little fat boy jeans, it was very comfy. But I had to take them in, so...semi-lame...or it woulda made me look stumpy, kekeke. I made a shirt originally, but the collar looked pretty stupid, so I went out later and tried on lotsa clothes at goodwill before anything was satisfactory. Thought it came out alright, lucky for me my wig has a good side :3
