Construction Details:

Chrono Trigger is a totally cool RPG that I absolutely love. I have a weakness for Akira Toriyama's character designs! I always thought Lucca's character was the most adorable, so I decided to cosplay her with my friend Adam as Crono. Recently I decided to revamp these costumes, and Tranquility became my new Crono. I'm glad we had a chance to make improvements, because I love these costumes so much! The helmet was made using a foam base covered in green fabric at the top, and the gold parts are made from cardboard, paper-mache and paperclay all coated in fiberglass resin. I cast the purple gem out of Easycast Resin. The rest of the costume is made out of soft cotton fabric, with the orange overcoat being a thicker, more stiff fabric. The boot covers and belt/suspenders/pouch are made from pleather fabric. My glasses were cheap party store sunglasses that I popped the lenses out of.
