I love NANA! The series hooked me from the first episode. Tranquility and I thought we already looked a lot like Nana O. and Nana K., so I decided to make a Hachi (Nana K.) costume to go with her Nana O. We wore these specifically for Nana Day (7/7/07). This costume is now retired. I got to use my own hair for this costume.. I used a semi-permanent color rinse in a pinky brown to match Hachi's hair. I didn't buy the official t-shirt, I made mine using iron-on transfers. Everything else I made from scratch, and I used some imagination for the bottom part of the costume as the art I got my inspiration from did not show Hachi's bottom half. Rocking horse shoes were absolutely necessary, even though they aren't totally Hachi's style. This was fun to wear!
