Construction Details:

This is Project Girly Frills for the LOLZ that I made for Sac-Con 08. It was done for the pure enjoyment and the hilarity that would arise from wearing these. Sadly only a small amount of people reconized who we were or what were even from. And I still had to sing the song at times.



About these costumes...

I made both costumes in about a week. I know crazy right? I used casa and lamour satins for the skirts, bows, bodice trim, and ankle straps. The bodices are made of lycra and have removable straps to help keep up the dresses when we are walking around. The necklaces are just satin ribbon with velcro and a bow. The gloves were dyed to match our outfits and I'm really happy with how they came out since this was my first dying project. The shoes were purchased at Payless (yea two for one sale!) and painted to match. The head anttenas are my favorite part and are COVERD in glitter. I'm going to be shaking glitter out of my wig for days. The wands were made by the Amelia in the picture, and are also smother in glitter.
