Construction Details:

I, sadly, cheated on this cosplay...I purchased the entire costume. But, in my defense, I had good reason to do so...I had less than a month to prepare for this con and I was also helping out with two other cosplays plus mine! I normally cosplay male characters (in fact, I intended to go as Hatsuharu "Haru" for this con), but after much pleading from ex-boyfriend I chose to be Tohru. At first I didn't like the idea of cosplaying as her, but after seeing the uniform and the few similarities I shared with her...I accepted my fate. In the end, I really did enjoy being her, and was overjoyed at the reactions I recieved and all the new friends I gained (I heart my Fruits Basket gang!). *Note: This cosplay was for the first EAE.*
