Construction Details:

The cape on this costume was made of over 20 yards of black and blue material, not including the heavy vinyl used on the shoulder pieces. Wire was ran through the collar so it would stay up like in the film. The shoulder 'bones' were made of wire, model magic, and fabric paint. I put boning in the front 'armor' to make it stiffer, and extra extensions in the wig for the 'spidery' effect. I had to base all the references on the one time Jareth wears this outfit...which is incredibly dark points in the film. Only two years ago does the toy version of this costume come out, and I see all the detail not able to be seen prior -_-;;;;
