Construction Details:

This costume is based off of the one Griffith wore in the anime when he had his final battle with Guts in the snow & then later went to have his way with the Princess. I'm not sure if it really has a name or not. I found a thick purple fabric on the clearance rack at Jo-Ann that I used for the coat. I used some really silky material for the shirt that frayed like crap. The pants & boots are from the thrift store. Wig, I found on Ebay. The sword was pretty jank. I bought a plastic ninja sword & changed the hilt by adding a metal lid, & some pieces of sheet metal. It was later remade out of fun foam, but I don't think I have any pictures. I got tired of mending all the holes in the shirt made from it fraying, so I retired it.
