Construction Details:

I've been a huge Ayumi Hamasaki fan since around 2003. Her 2002 Arena Tour was the first Ayu concert DVD that I ever owned and because of that it will probably always be one of my favourites. Maybe one day I'll have all the costumes from this concert ... But in the meantime, this is actually the second from this concert that I've made (the first one was retired years ago ...), which she wears for the last 3 songs of the concert (before the encore). Although probably not the most eye catching costume, I still love it. This costume represents over a year (admittedly, on and off) of hand beading down nearly every single pinstripe of the suit. The suit was a cheap find from Value Village, as well as the suspenders (which I covered in silver sequins trim). The hat was loaned to me by my dad, and the wig was cut and styled for me by AmytheYu for another project that I haven't finished yet, but worked perfectly for this one.
