Construction Details:

This costume was made for Underground Cosplay's Anime Expo Masquerade Entry in 2006 -- "The True Power of the Clow". The costume was a lot of fun to make, because The Watery is this crazy ethereal being, so many parts of the costume were open to creative interpretation. For example, for the bottom half of the costume I created a hybrid version of the mermaid tail, which is seen on the front of The Watery clow card, and the flowing "water" train that she has when she's flying around outside her card attacking things xD. This was also my first experience with body paint... being blue was fun =).
