Construction Details:

The dress...it sucks. The first one was ok, but I made the mistake of washing it, and the green bled onto the white despite both fabrics being pre-washed. So I remade it quickly, and wasn't very happy with it. The parts I do like are the leggings / chaps! I traced my favorite pair of jeans onto the green denim for the pattern. My husband helped with transferring the design and painting it. The badges are all shrinky dinks, hand drawn and colored. They were a lot of fun to make. The backpack was made with scraps from the leggings.

Personal Thoughts:

Long wigs suck! Oh well. I was happy to switch to Simca's shorter-haired version after wearing this once.
