Construction Details:

The forehead protector and kunai were bought off ebay, but the blue ninja sandals were made by buying navy blue sandals from Famous Footwear and altered with navy blue cloth to look like the ninja sandals because I didn't like how bright blue the ones sold in ebay stores are. --- I used one of my own Chinese tops as a pattern and gold cord and buttons to make her shirt fastenings. I chose a torquoise blue-green/tealish satin fabric for the pants, since in the anime her pants aren't full on blue or full on green, but a mixture of both, sort of like a peacock turquoise. Costume was 100% handsewn...I didn't have a sewing machine at the time. XD

Personal Thoughts:

This was like.... my 2nd to oldest costume, LOL (even older than the misa one), and worn to my first US con (AX 2005). Omg, first self-made costume and it was 100% handsewn LOLOL. The pants were like....tacky-glued together, that's how ghetto fabulous this costume was. XD Still, despite my utter lack of anything other than the very extreme basics of sewing back then, this costume turned out pretty recognizable, and I had a lot of fun in it. ************************************************************ FOR SALE: The pink Chinese shirt ONLY from this costume is for sale.
