Construction Details:

I ended up finding all my fabric on super joanns clearance so the entire outfit was 23 bucks *score*
The red is a slightly strechy twill-like material sewn like a 1970s bodysuit ^^ The sleeves are lined in a tinted cotten like the character design.
The purpleish jumper is satiny on the inside and has a wonderful texture on the outside.
The gloves are elbow style so it's clean and I can store flat things tucked in my glove tops that way as well ^_^
The wig is my old Morgan wig that I was going to replace anyways, so I ended up styling it into Mai ^_^

Personal Thoughts:

So I wanted to make an avatar costume to wear with friends that I didn't have to have heavy make-up with like my Suki.
Not to mention I love the "omg teenage angst, no one loves me" characters :p
