Construction Details:

In exchange for borrowing Umi's Katara costume, she asked me to cosplay with her from Here Is Greenwood. I agreed, as I quite enjoyed the OAVs back in the day. And so we made the costumes from the dorm movie "Here Is Devilwood." I portrayed Lemon Herb, the warrior with a bunch of childhood friends to visit, and Umi was Cool Mint, the mysterious and evil wizard.

Personal Thoughts:

This costume reinforced my hatred of bias tape. Between the tunic and the cloak, I used approximately 18 yards of the stuff. NEVER AGAIN. But besides that, I felt I learned a lot from this costume! I had to draft my own patterns for the tunic, cloak, and bracers, and I worked with linen, jersey, and vinyl for the first time.
