About this Costume
- Construction Details:
-
The head piece has four separate layers of satin fabric. I hand sew them together since my sewing machine wouldn???t take that much fabric together. The details on the head piece are hand embroidery and the gold edges were hand painted with 3D paint. The flowers are made of foam and have gold designs with 3D paint and beads in the middle were hand sew.
The skirt of the dress has four different layers. Each one of them has designs. The top has gold design on the front which I bough made like that. The necklace I noticed it after I made the dress so I just added it as a separate piece from dress. It also has gold details made with 3D paint. The shoes have wings made of foam and detailed with 3d paint. - Personal Thoughts:
- This costume was done completely from scratch by me. It took me about a year to have it completed. It was my fist big cosplay project as it required me to learn many different to complete all the details of the costume. When I first saw the art work it is based on, I completely fell in love with it. The designs and the cut on the edges have completely fascinated me.
