Construction Details:

This costume is a constant WIP having been made in three days less than a week prior to a convention. I'm always adding and revamping things. I suppose eventually I'll get it right. I wanted to go for a very Middle Eastern design with this and kept the pallet as light as possible. The fabric used for the cape and sash was actually a fluke. I had planned on doing a gradient dye for the cape but ran out of time. Heading over to the fabric store I lucked out when I found a bolt of discounted drapery fabric.

Since the costume's debut, I've added shoulder armour and a little more beadwork around the vest and have plans to eventually remake the corset with sari fabric and add more to the sash and cape. But we'll see what I can come up with. I love Amano for the freedom it provides.
