As I mentioned before, I knew I would cosplay Orihime from the minute I saw her. I always feel a little silly comparing myself to anime characters but I found myeslf relating to Orihime in a lot of ways, for better or worse. After doing her Soul Society version, I decided to whip up her school uniform...(Read More) a couple of days before Acen. This costume was mostly store bought. I picked up the shirt from a thrift store and found a floor-length, pleated skirt to alter.I already had the socks and the shoes and made the bow and the tag on the shirt out of a red t-shirt. The gold piece on the bow was made from model magic. Although it was a very easy, last-minute costume, it received much more attention than my Soul Society version and I was happily surprised. I recently got to wear this costume with my friend dressed as Rukia which made it even better. <3
