About this Costume
- Personal Thoughts:
- I really felt connected to Hayate while watching this series. He's a good person who tries his best, but just doesn't have good luck. This was worn to another anime con on saturday. I enjoyed crosplaying, since I haven't done that in a while. It was a very comfortable costume to be wearing all day. I felt laid back and in character. The tea set was super fun to have as a prop. I made the cake and bought the tea set at walmart. The tray was a rusty metal plate that I cleaned and shined. I put magnets on the tea set to have it stick to the tray, so the set wouldn't be falling down all day. My favorite part was stying the wig. The wig I found was the perfect color at Joann's for 10 bucks. It was such a rare color that I was so surprised to find it. ^_^ My favorite part about Hayate the combat butler is the references to other animes in it. It would be considered a parody anime with comedy. The opening and ending songs are amazing as well! Get watching it!
