Construction Details:

This costume was a surprise creation for NDK. I was on a vampire kick after watching Hellsing Ultimate, and this series, and Cass seemed like a lot of fun. She came together rather slowly. I picked up the scarf at a favorite accessory shop of mine, and the boots are the ones I ordered from Cosworx for Helena (Maiden). The wig is an old Tifa wig I had and restyled. The vest is one I bought, and then took in it was waaaay too big before. The pants I managed yto pick up at Wal-mart, just before the con. I also bought the belt there, and painted it red. For the sleeves, I picked out a black material similar to that of the vest, and some satin ribbon for the detailing, and elastic to make them stay. The fangs are a pair of Scarecrow fangs. Finally, there's the chain cross. That was all hand-made, using 6 feet of elastic necklace cording and lots of silver beads. (Almost $50 worth!) I found a suitable cross in the keychain section, though it's not perfect, and I'm still looking for a better one.
