Construction Details:

First seen at Youmacon07, it wasn't that hard to make at all. I already had the shirt, and the bow from my Minako costume, I just added the yellow center part. I bought the skirt and my mom helped me cut and hem it so it was the right length and size. The shoes...omg...I couldn't find the right style of shoe any where! It was so frustrating. SO I settled with these, like 7 stores later, and just polished them brown. I had a wig to wear with this that my friend Jes actually cut and styled with me, however it was messed up so I had to go to plan b which was to spray dye my hair black the morning before the con and use hair glue to keep it in place. My shirt was black all around the collar by the end of the day. I love Rukia, she's my absolute favorite Bleach character and I'm glad she got to be my first cosplay. I'll more than likely re-do this costume at a later date. But as of right now the costume is retired, I have other projects for future cons.
