Construction Details:

My Heather costume is a whole lot of used clothing with quite a bit of alteration involved. The skirt was originally a pair of jeans (Pan helped me out with turning the jeans into a skirt). The vest was originally a jacket and the pockets were made from material left from the sleeves. The orange turtleneck was sadly taken from my Haku costume. I removed the sleeves and used the cuffs for the arm bands.

The boots were a lucky find on eBay by my friend Pam. I borrowed them from her for CNAnime '07 but I liked the boots so much that I bought myself a pair of the exact same ones so I could wear this costume again several times.

Personal Thoughts:

I've been itching to Cosplay from Silent Hill since I got interested in the video game series a couple of years ago. Heather was the first character that really appealed to me but now I can see myself maybe Cosplaying some other characters as well. (^^) I'm ridiculously addicted to the SH games. XD In the costume photos from Ohayocon, Derange is Memory of Alessa and she and her friend brought along the awesome wheelchair that I got to pose sitting in. :3
