Construction Details:

Nearly 2 years of work went into completing this gown. Each detail on the dress is 3 layers appliqued on with satin stitching of gold metallic thread. Outfit is made from green velveteen, white casa satin, different colors of satin and an overlay of organza (for the details). The floating armor is set up on a metal wire that is fitted under the dress and also centered and made steady with the use of fishing line that attaches to the back of the dress. It's made from foam and plastic sheeting. With details made from more craft foam and puffy paint, then painted gold. Each of the dangled parts is screwed in for ease of removal.

Personal Thoughts:

My favorite costume to date. Though, I'm sure I'll come up with something else to take it's place eventually.
